Hand, Foot & Mouth Disease (HFM)

Sungguh lama rasanya tak mengupdate blog ini. Since my dad & uj's dad is no longer with us, we were like on the move saja most of the time. Kejap di Ipoh, kejap at my mom's. This weekend we were suppose to go back to Ipoh. But unfortunately Fawwaz tiba2 sakit..and suspected having Hand, Foot & Mouth Disease (HFM). It's all started on Wednesday ptg, dia start demam. Then rashes start naik kat kaki, tangan & paha. His doctor said ada ulcer in his mouth. And semua tu symptom2 HFM. Stunt jugak bila dgr tuh coz we hardly bawak Fawwaz jalan2 in public. Kalau ada pun x lama. And last weekend we didn't go anywhere. Time kerja dia tinggal at my mom's yg mana mmg tak ada kanak2. So, xtau laa mcmana dia boleh berjangkit.

This disease do not have any vaccine..so, what we need to do is to ensure his fever tak teruk..and just give him some ubat tahan sakit yg doc dia prescribe (for his mouth). Make sure he drinks lotss and lotss of water..ohh, doctor said give cold water..hot water makes the mouth lebih sakit. He hardly drink his milk..at 1st mau jugak laa dia minum vitagen, but on 2nd day tu langsng tak mau apa2, makan apatah lagi.

Today morning he looks much better. Even last nite pun dia dapat tido better than the nite before. Still he woke up like every 2 hours but at least he's not crying like mlm sebelumnya.

Hope he gets well soon. Bila anak yang normally active tiba2 jadi mandom, sungguh merisaukan rasanya..
