Oo gosh...life was really hectic after Raya...takde masa nak update the blog....and weekends pulak busy attending openhouse sana sini..busynyerr ala2 macam perdana menteri aje..kui..kui..kui...

We went back to Ipoh on 11 Oct 07 nite after buka puasa...we tot the jalan is going to be xtra-xtra-xtra sesak...but suprisingly, the jalan was smooth fr Kota Damansara till we reach Kg Tersusun. Sungguh gumbira balik raya jln tak sesak like previous years...(as if laa i pernah balik raya to ipoh before....hehhe...this is my 1st raya di rumah mertua ku)..."Lalalalaa...balik kampung..ooo..oo..ooo balik kampung...hati girang...."..and thank god Fawwaz tak ada buat 'projek' in the car...i still remember masa chinese new year holiday we went back to Ipoh jugak..and mamat kecik tuh boleh berak in the car...can u imagine betapa wanginyerr haruman semulajadi yg dikeluarkan oleh si kecik tuh....

1st day raya we didn't go out coz sedare mara yang datang ke rumah dan menghavockan suasana. Fawwaz was in good mood with his baju melayu & sampin (but no songkok..he hates it when we put anything on his head)..

That's Fawwaz with his Tok Wan (Abah Uj)..Look at Abah uj's face...that is how my husband gonna look like in 30 years time...hahaha..

A week before Raya...

Venue: Mama's house @ Seksyen 9, Kota Damansara

This year, i'll be going back to my husband's hometown, Ipoh. My brothers are all going to celebrate raya with their in laws as well. So, a week before raya, my mom cooked for us for buka puasa, then sembahyang terawikh jemaah...then the happiest moment for the kids...'duit raya session'..

Last week, when the radio started to play raya song, i was so emotional..well, this is my 1st raya w/out mama & abah (anak manja ni...hehehe)...but then my mom in law was so baik..she promised to cook nasi dagang on 1st day raya to compensate back i tak dpt balik raya ke T'ganu this year...(in T'ganu, food yang paling famous during raya will be nasi dagang & laksa).

Dinner @ Chilli's..

At 1st we plan to buka puasa by 'tapauing' fr secret recipe but my 'big appetite sista in law' (hehehe) suddenly teringin nak makan burger @ Chilli's. Bagaikan bulan jatuh ke riba, i immediately agreed lorr..but this time juz the 2 of us..fawwaz was asleep that whole evening so, kena laa tinggal dekat rumah my mom. And uj pulak ada bukak puasa with his office mates. And 5 Oct happen to be Mashi's Birthday...so, teruslaa belanja dia to celebrate her b'day.

This is the burger that Mashi is craving for. But she tipu a bit laa...although she finish off all the daging burget, but roti tu she ate half only...and i think half of the fries goes to my tummy...hehehe..

Food was great...the service was superb...i went to Chilli's one utama before but on that day their service was xtraordinarily BAGUS...!!

I had their famous fried steak. Their mashed potato was really YUMMIE...and like usual, i refilled the juice for 3 times...well..alang2 bayar MAHAL, i make sure to make it worth it...hehehe..

Buka Puasa @ San Francisco SteakHouse..

Yummie..Yummiee....Their western food was really sedap..what i love most is their potato wedges (For those who alwizz makan2 with me sure tau laa, i kan die hard fan potato & chicken) ....But in Malay dishes department & dessert department, diorg fail sikit la..I wanted to eat more but terlampau banyak minum air (makes me feel like 'muntahing')..

Sorry, no photo of the food coz have to layan fawwaz as he was busy screaming when we were about to buka puasa...so, have to bribe him with susu to keep him quiet...:)

And when i was on my way nak pergi surau for Maghrib prayer, i bump into an old friend, Fa (from UIA). Soooo happy to see her (almost 4-5 years tak jumpa dia). We had a short but fruitful gossip session (hehehe...kurang terus pahala puasa i..). i brought her to meet my little boy, Fawwaz...and we chat and gossip some more...unfortunately, she had to rush to her office (she's a journalist)...

This will be our last buka puasa session at ramadhan buffet this year..this weekend my mom is going to cook for all of us (my 3 brothers: A. Yo, A.Say & A.Iz and my youngest sis-Nani)...the menu will be: Ayam Golek (for KL folks, they call it ayam percik), kerabu sotong, and i think she mentioned sayur campur and a few other dishes..sedapnyer!!)

Since this year is our turn to go back raya at our in law's place...so, we are going to have 'duit raya session' on this saturday as well..luckily my 3rd brother (a.iz) decided to go back to T'ganu as well on 2nd day raya..if not mama & abah is celebrating raya only with my grandparents and my youngest sis, Nani (not yet married..single but not available..hheehehe)

Last week, when Hot FM played lagu raya...isk..isk..suddenly i became sooo and soo and soooo emotional...i suddenly realize that i'm not going to celebrate raya with mama & abah this year--my 1st raya w/out them (iskk..isk...so sedih lorr)...

Yeayy!! Sangat happy bila tengok Fawwaz can sit on his own...walaupun only for a few minutes, but i feel so proud of him...but that was last week punya story laa...after that no more sitting on his own..i have to hold him, then only dia boleh duduk, kalau tak after a few seconds, mesti dia akan tumbang like highland tower...i can't wait to see him merangkak, then jalan...
